The most valuable piece of business advice I have received lately is, “the secret to being a great consultant is to have great clients who actually want your help – choose your business relationships wisely.” As always, relationships matter! I see the wisdom of those words each time I take on a consulting project – my current projects have me working with clients in places like San Francisco, Washington D.C., New York, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Charlotte, Zurich, Bangkok … with clients who want and use my assistance. The assignments cut across a range of industries, including aerospace & defense, education, energy, financial services, industrial manufacturing, information technology, oil, telecommunications. My projects focus specifically on human capital strategy, executive education program design and delivery, executive coaching, acquisition integration, business and HR transformation. These are the topics that impact today’s HR leaders and aspiring leaders. It’s a privilege for me to help them make a difference.
